The majority of their substantial customer
base is in Leicestershire with 70% of work
coming from recommendation alone.
A small amount of advertising is done each
year in both the local evening paper and one
of the free paper .
The company offers its customers a complete
service from survey to planning to execution
of job, including all plumbing, plastering,
wiring and tiling. Some of these jobs being
sub contracted to trades people who have
worked with the company for many years.
The business is in the area for bespoke made
to measure work, which includes having
doors and draw fronts made to fit the
product instead of the product altered to suit
stock items, thus keeping the balance of the
furniture correct to the space to be used.
The business enjoys excellent turnover
figures which keep growing year on year
with enviable gross profits.
Staffing has been kept to a minimum of two
full time members, keeping overheads to a
minimum.
Stock holding, we are told is also kept to a
minimum of approximately £4,000 plus WIP
at any time.
The company offers its customers a variety of
wood finishes from oak, pine, beech and
colours, all designed to fit in to its
customer’s tastes.
