own play area. The room is calm and

room off for rest times and quiet times. Also
a training toilet.
Through the security exit to the porch area is
the second link door to the primary school
then outside to the specially designed ‘Under
3’s’ early learning play space. This houses
moveable climbing frame, fixed activity
panels, sand and water play, and storage
boxes. The whole area flooring is soft play
surface with attractive designs.
On the first floor there is a small but useful
room for adults, accessed by staircase or lift.
Staff use it at lunchtime or for preparation,
as it houses a networked computer. Parents
can use this room as a meeting place and it is
also a useful space for seeing parents and
visitors.
External
The pre-school nursery also boasts its own
fenced off garden area. With a benched
story corner for sunny days, a ‘lets grow this’
area to teach the little ones about the magic
of natural life and a fenced off pond, again
for frogs and tadpoles etc.
